Viking Cruises gives a historic sightseeing cruise through the Cape Cod Canal. The trips are two or three hour sightseeing tours with live narration about the history and points of interest along the Canal. Points of interest include Massachusetts Maritime Academy, Sagamore Bridge, Bourne Bridge, Vertical Lift Railroad Bridge, Gray Gables, Herring Run, Aptucxet Trading Post, Scusset Beach Fish Pier, Sandwich Boat Basin and Cape Cod Bay.
Cape Cod Baseball League
The Cape Cod Baseball League is the premier collegiate summer baseball league. The Cape Cod Baseball League is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Players from across the United States representing all NCAA college divisions are recruited to play in the 10-team league. Teams are located in Bourne, Brewster, Chatham, Cotuit, Falmouth, Harwich, Hyannis, Orleans, Wareham and Yarmouth-Dennis. One in every six Major League Baseball players has played in the Cape Cod Baseball League.
Melody Tent

Carter Beal Conservation Area

The Carter Beal Conservation Area, is located behind the Bournedale Village Inn. Take a short walk and see where herring migrate up to Plymouth’s Great Herring Pond, and then on to the  Herring Run Recreation Area, where the Herring River flows into the Cape Cod Canal.
