Old Fashioned Family Run Business for 20 Years

by | Jun 2, 2020

Bournedale Village Inn was bought by Ms. Sherry Flynn in November of 1999.  Many renovations have been done over the years to ensure a comfortable stay for her guests and patrons. Recently two of the motel rooms were renovated to include full kitchens.

The property is fortunate to have a small restaurant on site, Barlow’s Clam Shack and Gift Shop.  Barlow’s Clam Shack is owned and operated by family members Diane Flynn and Skip Barlow. The clam shack serves classic Cape dishes like clam rolls, fish and chips, “wicked good” lobster rolls and old fashioned ice cream shakes. Patrons can eat-in, take-out or enjoy their meal in the scenic picnic area.

As the original owners had managed the business as a family run tradition this is still in place today, “a true family run business”.
