Sights To See
The Cape Cod Canal Railroad Bridge is a vertical lift bridge that enables railroad traffic to across the Cape Cod Canal, connecting Cape Cod with the mainland. The center of the bridge moves up and down to allow trains to cross the bridge. The Cape Cod Central Railroad offers dinner trains that pass over the bridge during experience. This is just one of the many “sights to see” during your visit.
Fishing The Canal
The Cape Cod Canal is one of the Northeast’s most productive striper fisheries. Few places, if any, allow an angler to fish 30-plus foot depths mere yards away from where they’re standing. The deep, fast moving waters lend themselves to daytime action that can often outpace the fishing at night.
